Resumo:
A partir da análise do vídeo Ceará, terra da luz, discutiremos a deriva de sentidos da expressão “terra da luz” após a ascensão do “governo das mudanças” (quando Tasso Jereissati assume o governo do estado do Ceará nos anos de 1987). Como dispositivo de análise, utilizaremos as práticas de leitura da Análise do Discurso Materialista, nas quais, parte-se do pressuposto fundamental de que o sentido não é uma evidência, mas uma determinação das posições ideológicas em jogo num dado momento sócio-histórico (Pêcheux, 2009:146). Neste texto, portanto, buscaremos compreender o funcionamento discursivo de “terra da luz” em suas relações com a imagem de um Ceará paradisíaco construído pelo discurso turístico dos “governos das mudanças”.

Abstract:
From the analysis of the video Ceará, terra da luz, it will be discussed the meanings derived from the expression “terra da luz” after the rise of “government of changes” (when Tasso Jereissati takes over the government of the state of Ceará in 1987). As a device of analysis it will be used the reading practices of Analysis of Materialist Discourse in which the fundamental assumption is that the meaning is not an evidence but a determination of ideological positions at stake in a given socio-historical moment (Pecheux, 2009:146). Thus, in this work it will be searched the comprehension of the discursive functioning of “terra da luz” in its relations with the image of a heavenly Ceará built by the tourist speech of “government of changes”.
